KATHMANDU: More than 40 tonnes of relief supplies provided by Samaritan’s Purse, a humanitarian organization based in the United Sates, for the support to the communities affected by Bhotekoshi flash flood, have arrived in Kathmandu today.
Different relief materials including water filters, tarpaulin sheets, blankets, hygiene kits and solar lights would be provided to 2,600 families through organisations working in local-level at flood-hit areas, according to the US Embassy in Kathmandu.
It has been coordinating with government of Nepal and different partners to provide life-saving assistance as per the need of Nepal, added the US Embassy.
